I try to keep an eye on the technology world, but it's hard when there's so much information swirling around in the Internet.  I've found Future Tense (www.futuretense.publicradio.org) useful for getting information that it's quick and easy to access, especially on my iPhone via the Podcast.

In today's handheld world, having your site 'Mobilized' is important!  Drupal offers a separate theme for a mobile view that works well with all handhelds.  You can see a sample of this on the ChoralExpress website at www.choralexpress.com.

I've added a Mobile View link (www.m.choralexpress.com), but also configured the site to automatically detect the device viewing the site - so when you go to www.choralexpress.com, it switches to the mobile view automatically!

My first blog entry will have to do with creating slide shows.  I have worked with a number of scripts over the years and there are now several I would recommend.

First - this client is using a slide show by Visual Lightbox (www.visuallightbox.com) which is relatively easy to configure and install.  Check it out here.

Second - using Drupal, there is a nice slideshow feature that works with Views.  Here's a sample of how that looks - check it out here!
